A GOOD LEADER

Hmmm...i don't know what have i eaten!!! guess as a pinay in blood, i have this heroic gene. U think so?

Anyway, as i was telling you about leaders, i may continue telling more about a good leaders. Well, tell me if am wrong.

Below were just my thoughts, what you think then?

Most people have heard the phrase, "character is what you are when no one is looking." It is that set of qualities and traits, based on morals and ethics, that guides our actions and distinguishes us from one another. We typically make assessments of others based on their words and actions - this is how reputations are built. In general, character, whether good or bad, is what we observe in others' conduct - it puts our morals and values into action.

If you believe the most important investment we can make for our future is developing and nurturing our next "greatest generation" of leaders, it's useful to define the most important aspects of leadership.

MOST IMPORTANT IS PRIDE: & 2 other formulas
- Preparation
- Respect
- Integrity
- Discipline
- Enthusiasm

* Moral
* Courage

Philippines Holiday "Bonifacio DAY"

WhyPhilippines celebrate this day? Who is Andres Bonifacio, who to speak?

Hmmm...am an old lad from the far east and since i can remember, this day is one of the most important day of our country. Bonifacio Day, not just we don't have school. Yeah!!! lots of fun but, hey! WHY? we have this day important, actually, huh?

Well, Andres Bonifacio was one of our national hero. He was born at Tondon, Manila, November 30, 1863. As i read and studied in my younger days, Philippine History, he's studied somewhere in Cebu (can't recall exactly). At a very young age, his parents died and left him & his brothers & sisters. He came from a poor family. He was forced to support his nearest siblings through selling somethings in the street. A wooden cane or sungkod, i guess. Not sure w/ this, though.

Andres Bonifacio was a revolutionary against Spaniards. He was one of thousand members of Jose Rizal organization "La Liga Filipina".

He was once a secretary in Aguinaldo's regime. He was a warrior of his days revolting the freedom of our country. Bonifacio resisted to surrendered and was arrested and sentence to death by military tribunal on May 10, 1897.

LEADERSHIP

Leadership comes in many shapes and sizes, and often from entirely unexpected quarters.

- Communication Is the Key= Communication is the real work of leadership. Great leaders SPEND the bulk of their time communicating. You need a talent for simplicity — for saying things in a few words. Knowing your audience is also essential. With the fluidity of information in business, org or whatever gatherings today, leaders need to be masterful listeners; they need to be able to receive as well as send.

What happens when leaders must communicate facts that are hard to take?

-leaders are pragmatists who can deal with difficult realities but still have the optimism and courage to act.

-From a leadership point of view, you always want to move toward telling the hard truths and helping people cope with the realities of change.

-ability to render that judgment can sometimes make or break a company or an organizations.

-Great leadership does not mean running away from reality. Sometimes the hard truths might just demoralize everybody, company or organization but at other times sharing difficulties can inspire people to take action that will make the situation better.

Don't get me wrong but today's leader's needs to freshen up their knowledge ruling the company, organizations or jst a little own run business.

Differentiate the "me & you" word. In a group it's always WE. Organization or company won't fullfill without the help of the people involve.

Leaders must listen. Show mutual respect to each other.
